Jumpnex Bakehouse Sdn Bhd (“Jumpnex”, “we”, “us”) cares about the personal information you share with us. This notice explains what we collect through our website at jumpnex.pro, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It applies in addition to any in-shop notices you may receive at our physical bakehouses.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller for this website is Jumpnex Bakehouse Sdn Bhd, registered in Malaysia (Co. Reg. 202403018472 / 1539821-K), with its registered office at Lot G-12, Bangsar Shopping Centre, 285 Jalan Maarof, Bukit Bandaraya, 59100 Kuala Lumpur. You can reach our privacy contact on [email protected] or by post at the address above, marked for the attention of the Privacy Lead.
2. What we collect, and when
2.1. Information you give us through the contact form
When you submit our enquiry form, we collect: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the type of enquiry you have selected, and the message text. We use this strictly to respond to your enquiry and to follow up on any pre-order, brief or wholesale conversation that arises from it.
2.2. Information collected automatically
Our hosting partner records standard server logs — IP address, browser, page accessed, referrer and timestamp — for the purpose of running, securing and troubleshooting the site. These logs are retained for 30 days and then deleted.
2.3. Cookies and similar technology
We use a small first-party cookie (or its localStorage equivalent) to remember your cookie-preference choice for one year. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party fingerprinting on this site. See our Cookie Policy for the full picture.
3. Why we use your information
- To answer your enquiry. Without this, we cannot respond to a brief or hold a loaf at the counter.
- To follow up on a pre-order. We may contact you about pickup windows, ingredient substitutions or scheduling.
- To improve the website. We use aggregated, non-identifying server logs to spot broken links, fix slow pages and address errors.
- To meet our legal obligations. If we are required by law to retain records related to a transaction, we will do so for the period the law specifies.
4. Who we share information with
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We share data only with carefully chosen processors that help us run the bakehouse: our hosting provider (Klang-Valley-based), our outbound mail provider, and — where you ask — our delivery partners. Each processor is bound by a written agreement to handle your data only on our instructions.
5. How long we keep things
- Contact-form enquiries: 18 months from the last interaction, then deleted unless you have become a paying customer or wholesale partner.
- Server logs: 30 days.
- Cookie preference cookie: 12 months from the day of selection.
- Records connected to invoices and tax: 7 years, in line with Malaysian tax rules.
6. Your rights under PDPA 2010
Under Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate, to limit our use of it, to object to direct marketing, and to withdraw a consent you have previously given. To exercise any of these rights, please write to [email protected]. We respond within 21 days.
7. Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe we may have collected such information, please write to us and we will remove it promptly.
8. Security
We protect your information with TLS in transit, encrypted storage, principle-of-least-privilege access, and routine reviews of who can see what. No system is invulnerable, however. If we ever discover a personal-data breach that affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authorities in line with our obligations.
9. Changes to this notice
We update this notice when our practices change — for example, when we add a new tool or change a retention period. The “last reviewed” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes are flagged on the homepage for at least two weeks before they take effect.
10. How to contact us
For any privacy-related question, please write to the Privacy Lead at Jumpnex Bakehouse Sdn Bhd, Lot G-12, Bangsar Shopping Centre, 285 Jalan Maarof, Bukit Bandaraya, 59100 Kuala Lumpur, or email [email protected]. We treat every privacy enquiry with the same care we treat the bread.
